The big moments of life are exactly what a church is for. Here is how each works with us, and who to talk to first.
Weddings
Getting married here
We would love to help you start your marriage well. Christian marriage services at our church are led by our minister, Rev Greg Turner, and include preparation sessions with Greg in the months beforehand to talk through what marriage is and what you are promising each other.
The sandstone church seats around 120 and the hall next door is available for a reception or morning tea. Start by getting in touch with Greg to talk about dates and what is involved.

Baptisms
Baptism and belonging
Baptism is one of the happiest things we do, and it always happens in the middle of a Sunday service, because it is not a private ceremony but a family one. The whole church promises to help the person being baptised, or the parents of a child being baptised, keep following Jesus.
For that reason baptism is for people who are part of this church family, and for their children. If you have recently come to trust in Jesus, or you are a member with a new baby, talk to Greg and he will walk you through what it means and what happens on the day.
If you are not yet part of a church but are interested in baptism, you are very welcome here. Come along on a Sunday, get to know us, and let's talk.
Funerals
When someone has died
We are so sorry. If you are arranging a funeral, Greg can lead a service in our church or at a chapel or graveside, and will meet with you first to hear about the person you have lost and to plan a service that honours them and speaks the real hope Christians have in Jesus.
You do not need to be a member, or religious, to ask. Funeral directors can contact Greg directly, or you can call him yourself. The hall is available afterwards for refreshments.
